Our Team

Lauren was born and raised in Sonoma County.  She completed her associate degree at Santa Rosa Junior College in Social and Behavioral Sciences.  She had a career in Dentistry and was pridefully a stay-at-home mother before joining the team in 2020.  She spends her free time with her two children, Bruce and Nora, and husband, Kevin.  Lauren is a licensed insurance agent and brings great technical abilities and  enthusiasm to learn, contribute to the team, and create lasting relationships while helping others.

Berry Financial & Insurance Solutions is owned and operated by James Berry, a financial enthusiast with over 15 years of experience who has a passion to go the distance to help his clients. James practices a hybrid approach to financial planning that includes investments, insurance, and advisory services. He leverages technology to make data delivery seamless for clients. He seems himself as more of a trusted advisor than a “financial guy.”

James is associated with The Leaders Group, Inc. and TLG Advisors, Inc.  Before launching Berry Financial & Insurance Services, James worked for various financial & insurance organizations over the years.

Today, James specializes in serving the needs of individuals and closely held businesses, but also works with many professionals in the areas of healthcare, technology, and agriculture.

James holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University and often leverages this background as part of his practice. Where education is the centerpiece of his practice, he loves working in an agricultural-centric area to ensure that all have access to quality, trustworthy advice.

James was raised in rural Mendocino County, California, and considers himself a native to the area. He is married and he and his wife, Gina, has three children--Sasha, Emersyn, and Lucas.  The Berry family also has a beloved Britnepoo pup named Otis. 

James is a passionate supporter of local youth sports, healthcare, and early childhood education.  He is also a proponent of community engagement and has worked with the following organizations:
